XBRL Switzerland (Switzerland)
The Competence Centre XBRL Switzerland promotes the dissemination of XBRL in Switzerland in order to improve efficiency and standardisation in accounting and reporting. In order for XBRL to be used in Switzerland for financial statements according to the Swiss Code of Obligations, an OR taxonomy is required, which is encoded in XBRL. Annual reports that are to be processed automatically by a data recipient are based on this uniform taxonomy, which contains, among other things, the list of accounts to be used. The taxonomy working group of the Swiss XBRL jurisdiction (www.xbrl-ch.ch) developed a new version of the taxonomy for business statements according to the Swiss Code of Obligations as of January 2018 and officially published it after a consultation. This revised version takes into account the latest amendments to the Code of Obligations by the Swiss legislator.
XBRL Deutschland e.V. (Germany)
The association has set itself the task of developing and supporting the taxonomy for the scope of the German accounting law (based on commercial law, Companies Act, and other relevant laws and regulations, including the standards of ASCG) to develop the taxonomy and provide support. The Association supports a number of important projects that provide partial requirements for the use of XBRL in Germany and to a certain extent promote the efficient use of XBRL. The Commercial Code taxonomy, developed by XBRL Germany, is the basis for the taxonomy used by tax authorities for the transfer of the electronic balance sheet. AMANA is a member of the strategic advisory board.
XBRL Europe is a regional not for profit organization (affiliated to XBRL International) for the promotion of XBRL in Europe, with 35 members in 2021.
XBRL Europe has been set up to foster European XBRL efforts, to implement common XBRL projects in Europe between its members and to liaise with European Authorities and organizations.
XBRL Europe has since end 2018 developed an ESEF Hub where all information on ESEF can be found. This XBRL Europe Digital HUB has been highly recognized and praised by all the stakeholders including the Authorities.
